This Bill Nickson racer was handbuilt in 1983 by Mike Kowel of Autostrada for Bill Nickson Cycles of Leyland, Lancashire. Established in 1981, Bill Nickson Cycles is one of Leyland’s longest running businesses. The shop was originally started by ex international cyclist Bill Nickson Senior. Bill had an exceptional career with notable achievements including winner of the Milk Race. In 2006, the shop was taken over by Bill Junior, who has also represented Great Britain at Elite level road racing and has experience over many disciplines of bike riding / racing. Dieses Rocky Mountain ist eine absolute Highend Maschine mit komplett elektronischer Ausstattung und sehr geringem Gewicht. Das Fahrwerk ist mit edler Kashima Beschichtung ausgetattet. Das Bike lässt sich super leicht bergauf treten und ist bergab auf jedem Trail souverän. Ich selbst fahre das Rad leider zu wenig, da ich viel auf dem Rennrad und Gravelbike unterwegs bin und möchte es deswegen vermieten.
